Kanyashree Club
Our institution has formed a kanyashree club with twenty kanyashree recipients to attain the goal of kanyashree scheme, the scholarship for the girl child that was initiated by west bengal government. These twenty members along with other female students of the college under the guidance of assistant professor shakti dutraj and the non-teaching staff jogensardar play an active role to spread awareness regarding the need for education of girl child and prevention of child marriage, childtrafficking, child abuse etc. In the neighbouring area of the intitution. The club celebrates ‘’kanyashreedibas’’ and is engaged in different activities like arranging workshops and awareness campaigns throughout the year.
